  • History: Villa de Leyva was founded in 1572 and is considered one of the best-preserved colonial villages in Colombia.  

  • Population: Villa de Leyva has about 40,000 inhabitants, most of whom rely on tourism and agriculture.  

  • Architecture: The town features many well-preserved colonial buildings that retain its charm.
